Hautoa Huhu- Kākāpō Limited Edition Print
This print was based on my “Heroic Huhu Kākāpō” original polymer clay art piece. Hautoa is a Māori word for brave, courageous, daring, valorous, gallant and heroic!
Hautoa Huhu (Huhana-2-A-19 the Kākāpō) is just that! Heroic! She was treated at Auckland Zoo on two occasions, once for aspergillosis and once for cloacitis, and while she was there she pulled at the heart strings of many. She has been described as a ridiculously sweet bird and a little bit of a clown! She recovered at Auckland Zoo and has been transferred back to her home on Whenua Hou. We all hope that Huhu continues to thrive and manages to breed successfully!

My limited edition prints are created using an impression of my handmade original polymer clay artwork. The prints are bold and sharp, and at a glance they look 3D, just like my original artwork, but they are vector images and can be scaled to any size without compensating on quality.
Each print is printed using giclee on white Hahnemuehle German Etching paper, 310gsm and comes unframed. The A5, A4, and A3 sizes will be shipped flat with a backing to prevent bending. The A2 and A1 size will be shipped rolled within a packing tube.
