Wide Eyed Ruru
This wide eyed Ruru sits still, watching, waiting, on his perch. Soon he will startle and take flight, but will he fly to your home? 🦉 This piece is hand sculpted using polymer clay. Once the piece is moulded, it is fired in an oven and then glued to a wooden backdrop, bold brown hues against natural tones, completing the artwork aesthetically.

Danny developed her own moulding technique to create unique, detailed art pieces out of polymer clay. By mixing the coloured polymer clay and by adding texture she creates depth which gives life to each design. Each piece is carefully hand sculpted then baked to harden, once baked they are glued mostly to a wooden surface for hanging.
