Tensile Tūī Print

This print was based on my Tensile Tūī original polymer clay art piece. Tensile describes the way this Tūī stretches his elaboratly, decorated throat, while perching with firm stability on his flexible flax (Harakeke).

Tensile also encompasses the way in which the original art piece was created. It was created in a malleable form by using polymer clay, then it was baked to harden while still retaining some of its semi flexible nature.

Additional Information:

Each print is printed using giclee on white Hahnemuehle German Etching paper, 310gsm and comes unframed. The A4 and A3 sizes will be shipped flat with a backing to prevent bending. The A2 and A1 size will be shipped rolled within a packing tube.

Danny has a small number of limited edition prints available in her studio. Prints which are in stock should arrive within 1-2 weeks. However, some artworks will be printed on demand so allow up to 2-3 weeks for your print to arrive.
